This award is designed to encourage promising filmmakers provided by the CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy. Each year, the Academy faculty members will select two fellows participating in the program who have demonstrated remarkable promise. Each recipient will be granted an award of USD 5,000.

ARRI Award is presented to the two cinematography fellows of the CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy. The recipients will have an opportunity to visit the ARRI Main Office in Munich, Germany and to participate in the Training Program at ARRI Academy.

CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy collaborates with Motion Picture Association (MPA) to have a pitching workshop, ‘Bridge to Hollywood’.
After the pitching competition at the workshop, the two fellows have an opportunity to visit industry events in the United States and Australia respectively.
First Prize winner will attend a 5-day Film Immersion Program in Los Angeles, USA. President’s Special Recognition Award winner will be invited to Brisbane, Australia to attend the Asian Pacific Screen Awards (APSA).
