Guidelines
Asian
Film Academy (AFA), an educational program of Busan International Film Festival
(BIFF), returns as ’CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy’ in partnership with
CHANEL in 2022. It will be held from 27 September to 14 October 2022 in Busan,
Korea. The program is now calling for Alumni Making
Documentary Team who can share experiences and skills with 2022 fellows. Application
is received until 24 July 2022 and guidelines are described below.
- As a
former participant of AFA, who are able to attend the entire course of the
program
- Who has
sufficient experiences and skills on each position

Who can produce making documentary films (5-min long version and 30-min long
version) for 2022 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy program
- Director (1 person) Producing the making documentary films as a main director
- Cinematographers (2
persons) Shooting the making documentary films
as cinematographers

Editor (1 person) Editing the making documentary films
※
5-min long version of the
documentary film is to be completed during the program to be screened at the Graduation
Ceremony on October 13th.
※
Post-production of making
documentary film for 30-min long version is to be done by the team after
leaving from Korea, and the completed work including subtitle if needed must be
sent to BIFF within due date of November 18th.

- A round-trip economy
class air ticket
- Accommodation in Busan
(2 persons in 1 twin room for entire program period)
- Free registration of
badge & welcome package (uniform & booklet included)
- Meeting room, film
equipment and editing tools for the making documentary film production
- The making documentary
film will be screened at the official YouTube channel of BIFF and the website
of CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy
- Token of appreciation
- Official Invitation
Letter for 2022 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy
is available to be issued
- Any cost for visa
issuing will not be covered
