                                                 Calls for Alumni Technical Assistant (TA) and Making Documentary Team

2024 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy is now calling for Alumni Technical Assistant (TA) and Alumni Making Documentary Team 

who can share experiences and skills with the program’s fellows of this year. 

Application is received until 14 July 2024 and the guidelines are described as below. 

2024 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy will be held from 22 September to 11 October in Busan, Korea.

● Roles & Responsibility

1.     Technical Assistant (TA)

-      Cinematography TA (2 persons)

  Training cinematography fellows and supporting them technically with the guidance of cinematography mentor

-       Editing TA (2 persons)

        Training editing fellows and supporting them technically with the guidance of editing mentor

     ​​

  ※​ Selected TAs will be divided into two groups and join each team of fellows.

2.     Making (-of the program) Documentary Film Team

-      Director (1 person)

  Producing the making documentary films as a main director      

-      Cinematographers (2 persons)

  Shooting the making documentary films as cinematographers

-      Editor (1 person)

  Editing the making documentary films as an editor

※  Alumni Making Documentary Team will produce making-of the program documentary films (5-min long version, and 30-min long version) for CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy program.

※  5-min long version of the documentary film is to be completed during the program to be screened at the Graduation Ceremony on October 10^th 2024.

※  Post-production of making documentary film for 30-min long version is to be done by the team after leaving from Korea, and the completed work including subtitle if needed must be sent to BIFF within due date of November 15^th 2024.

※  The making documentary films will be screened at the official YouTube channel of BIFF and the website of CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy.

   - As a former participant of AFA / BAFA, who is able to attend the entire course of the program

   - Who has sufficient experiences and skills on each position

   ※   A proposal of making documentary film is needed for Alumni Making Documentary Team applicants.

● Timeline

   - Online Application Deadline: 14 July 2024, 18:00 KST

   - Final Selection Announcement: 22 July 2024 (via e-mail)

● Additional Information

  - Official Invitation Letter for 2024 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy is available to be issued

  - Any cost for visa issuing will not be covered
