1. Roles & Responsibilities

• Alumni Making-of Documentary Team

o Director/Editor (1 person)
Responsible for directing and editing the making-of documentary films as the main director.

o Cinematographers (2 persons)
Responsible for shooting the making-of documentary films.

※ The Alumni Making-of Documentary Team will produce making-of documentary films for the CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy program (one 5-minute version and one 30-minute version).

※ The 5-minute version must be completed during the program to be screened at the Graduation Ceremony on October 14, 2026.

※ Post-production for the 30-minute version will be done by the team after departing from Korea. The completed work, including subtitles if necessary, must be submitted to BIFF by November 6, 2026.

※ The making-of documentary films will be screened on the official BIFF YouTube channel and the CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy website.

2. Eligibility

• Must be a former participant of AFA/BAFA who is able to attend the entire duration of the 2026 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy program.

• Must possess sufficient experience and skills relevant to the respective position.

• A proposal for the making-of documentary film is required for the Alumni Team application. (Only applicable to Director/Editor applicants)

4. Timeline

• Application Deadline : July 20, 2026, 18:00 KST

• Final Selection Announcement :July 27, 2026 (via email)

6. Additional Information

• If you require an entry visa to participate in the 2026 CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy, BAFA will provide the necessary supporting documents for your visa application.

• Any costs incurred for visa issuance will not be covered.
